I am currently a counseling student at Concordia University, Irvine studying Clinical Counseling. I practice under the direct supervision of Dr. Nelson de Ramirez, the fonder of OC Kids Therapy. I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Utah Valley University. Taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade as well as high school students. Being a former school teacher has provided me with a wealth of insight into what kids struggle with today. I am passionate about working with kids to help them thrive!
I provide brief, solution focused Cognitive behavioral therapy or CBT. CBT has been proven to be the most effective treatment for common issues that present for therapy. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, behavioral issues and ADHD.
I understand that not everyone has years to spend in therapy. I focus on providing patients with tools and strategies to help them navigate the unique challenges that come with being a kid today.
