Hello, I'm glad you're here! My name is Alyssa Hunter, and I am a Licensed Independent Social worker in the state of Ohio. I work with women who are struggling with everyday life stressors, and who just need someone to "get it". I believe in a person-centered strength-based approach to your healing. Each session will be different and tailored to fit your needs during that session. Different modalities may be utilized based on symptoms, and concerns.
I have experience working with women who don't quite feel like "themselves" anymore. Whether that's due to weight loss or weight gain, body image, or self-esteem, we can work towards you feeling back like yourself. If you're struggling to balance your role as a partner, friend, and parent, I'm here to let you know I'm not alone.
I like to keep things very light-hearted and tend to take a humorist nature. My main goal is to make you feel comfortable so that you can process your healing in a safe space.
