If you resonate with the idea that you can get addicted to anything, we may be a great fit. I specialize in working with individuals with complex and development trauma. I am passionate about supporting clients in building self-trust. I see therapy as an uncovering and strengthening of your authentic self rather than a top-down analysis. I am thoughtful and trauma-informed in my pacing and approach toward the emotional distress you have experienced. I am specifically trained in EMDR for the treatment of PTSD and Motivational Interviewing for behavior change.
I offer a warm, inquisitive approach. I became trained in EMDR because of my alignment with founder, Francine Shapiro's, belief that trauma is "anything that impacts our self or our psyche." Through EMDR, IFS, and attachment therapy, we will co-create a care plan focused on living authentically in relationship.
Entering into a therapeutic relationship can feel risky. I know the risk intensifies when you are spinning your wheels after years of being in therapy.
