Finding the right therapist can be daunting, and I honor the courage required of entering therapy. I prioritize empathy, compassion, and genuine connection in my work with emerging and established adults, creating a safe and strong therapeutic alliance to support change. I primarily use an insight-oriented approach to therapy, helping clients better understand their own subjective experience by exploring past experiences and relationships and identifying patterns of behavior that influence their current presentation today; however, I adapt my approach to the needs of each client.
I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders of varying severity, disordered eating patterns, and body image concerns. In addition to my expertise working with eating disorders, I have years of experience in issues such as emerging adulthood, life transitions, interpersonal relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, and women's health.
I work collaboratively with clients to meet them where they are in their healing journey. I firmly believe that healing from an eating disorder requires support from loved ones and those closest to you. I provide consultation to family and loved ones of those suffering from an eating disorder and conduct family sessions for eating disorder clients as well.
