Welcome! I am a Licensed Psychologist in Tennessee and Alabama. I am located in Nashville, TN. I provide individual therapy to adults, primarily specializing in early adulthood. I am also a faculty member at Texas Tech University, where I teach asynchronous courses about diagnosing, psychological assessment, and therapy. I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kentucky. I have worked in various clinical settings, including four different college counseling centers, a private practice, an inpatient hospital, a VA medical center, and a community-based clinic.
I view therapy as a collaborative process. I believe in tailoring therapy to meet the unique needs of clients. I am certified in various evidence-based treatments for helping clients cope with difficulties such as anxiety, depression, role transitions, interpersonal problems, grief, eating concerns, perfectionism, and postpartum depression.
