I have worked with a variety of clients within different ages and stages of their life. I believe that the therapeutic process should be individually curtailed to each specific client. Every client processes information and sees the world differently. These are the factors at the forefront of my mind when I am considering interventions for clients. I enjoy standing beside my clients on their journey while helping, supporting, and encouraging them to reach their therapeutic goals.
I am a psychology enthusiast and enjoy using my knowledge to help others on their journey. My therapeutic modalities are Person-Centered, Positive Psychology Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I feel that the role of a therapist should be someone who can aid in promoting perspective-shifting, healing, emotional education, and growth.
I believe the relationship between a therapist and a client is very important. If a client does not feel connected or compatible with their therapist then true therapy is not happening. I encourage authenticity from the client as well as from me. I want my clients to feel supported, accepted and know that I truly care and am invested in helping.
