My passion is assisting individuals in recovering from their past traumas and experiences. I’ve worked with teenagers dealing with social anxiety and social anxiety, young adults dealing with depression and individuals dealing with substance-use. While in my sessions I like to incorporate mindfulness meditation to help with anxiety and daily life stressors. I've dealt with clients from a variety of backgrounds, and I welcome those who are LGBTQIA. Leaving you with the skills you need to feel more self-assured and confident in your daily life is my goal for you as you leave therapy!
In our work together, I apply psychodynamic theory to help my clients gain a complete understanding of their pasts and identify any wounds that still need to be healed. I strive to include a variety of approaches in my sessions because I am aware that no single approach is the best for every individual.
Having an extra helping hand can be helpful since life can be difficult at times. While in sessions I want to create a safe environment for you to be open and honest with yourself. I believe that in order for treatment to be successful, the therapeutic relationship is essential.
