Welcome! My name is Alyson Sandoval and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I believe therapy is a place for everyone and I love helping others work towards growth and change. I have many years of experience working with teens and adults on life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationships, self-esteem and other common areas of struggle. much of my experience has been working with teens and young adults and often work through struggles like anxiety, self-esteem, depression, relational conflict, and trauma.
I love working with mothers because I believe self care matters when pouring into others all day, and I have worked with a significant amount of educators as well for the same reason.
I aim to provide a safe and relaxing environment that feels peaceful and supportive. I hope to convey empathy in each session and believe the client is an expert in their own life. I tend to lean towards an open ended approach each session so that the issues most pertinent to the client can be included.
