My name is Alyson Pena, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California. I am deeply passionate about guiding couples to create healthy, connected, and fulfilling relationships utilizing RLT and Gottman methods. I can help couples who are stuck in repeated patterns of hurting each other, feel alone in their marriage, and simply want to feel desired again.
Couples who are experiencing communication issues, disconnection, betrayal, isolation, and unhealthy coping mechanisms. The couples I work with are struggling to get through the day with their partner, don't know what to say or do, and are experiencing hopelessness.
I utilize Relational Life Therapy (RLT) and Gottman methods to lead couples to change. These approaches help decrease conflicting verbal communication that is triggering, establish boundaries and healthy interaction, and as well as increase intimacy and love between couples.
