Navigating Recovery for Parents
Half day workshop offered quarterly for parents of teens/young adults struggling with an eating disorder. Day consists of structured process groups, psychoeducation, therapeutic skills and parents coaching. When you have a child with an eating disorder there are fears for their mental and physical well-being. Once you have identified that there is a problem it is really the beginning. Often times parents are left out of the treatment process and are not provided with the support that they need. We want to change that and provide a space that is safe for parents and empowers them in the recovery process alongside their child.
