Gottman Level 1 Clinical Training Gottman Method
Level 1 training is the first step for therapists to learn Gottman Method Couples therapy. It gives therapist new insight into couples' struggles using research-based assessments and effective interventions. It provides an introduction to the over four decades of scientifically grounded research from Dr. John Gottman about what causes relationship stability and demise. Gottman Level 2 Couples Therapy Clinical Training
Level 2 training deepens knowledge and refines clinical skills in working with couples. In this training, you will do the following: practice and use assessment skills and interventions in group exercises, view films demonstrating use of various interventions, refine clinical skills and expand knowledge of 50+ interventions to use with couples immediately, gain insight as to when to use these methods and when couples therapy is contraindicated, learn how to deal with complicated cases involving affairs, PTSD, addictions and domestic violence. 20 CEUs are available for Texas LCSWs, LPCs and LMFTs
