Life is exciting and beautiful. And, at the same time it can be painful and chaotic. There are parts of us who want to run away, who want to feel better, or just want to give up. Many of us have the pieces of our puzzle, but we may be looking for a missing piece, or cannot see the full picture. That is where my passion to come alongside you belongs. I enjoy looking at the pieces together with you, putting them into perspective, curiously looking for a missing piece, and finding the spot that “fits best” and feels right. My strategy is to collaborate with you because “you know you best.”
As an EMDR Certified Therapist, the goal is to help you heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. This method will help you stabilize yourself when your parts/thoughts/feelings become unmanageable and you may feel out of control. My objective is to come along side of you, so you can paint the picture of the life you long to live.
I have worked for 15 years as a social worker assisting adults, youth and families to find and fill in the missing pieces of their lives. There is no greater joy to me, than when a person begins putting pieces together, connecting the dots, and has that “ah-ha” moment when even the seemingly, ugliest piece makes the picture of their life stable and beautiful
