During counseling sessions the client will be encouraged to discuss the problem areas in their life, and together we will explore the impact it is having on happiness and daily functioning.
We will develop a plan of action so the client can start making beneficial changes in their life. You will receive encouragement and positive feedback. Clients will be expected to do work on their problem area in between sessions.
It is up to the client if they want to explore their past and find reasons for the current problem area, or work in a more solution focused way, and just find a resolution for the current issue.
