My hope is to help you understand why you encounter the same kinds of frustrating roadblocks, and how you might make greater room in your life for more satisfying outcomes; while increased self-awareness doesn't guarantee change. it can open the door to new real & unimagined possibilities.
I offer couples in crisis a supportive & fully engaged therapeutic experience, assessing the specific needs of the couple & helping them work through the painful wounds and conflicts that can undermine the best relationships. Together we work to cut-thru the plot lines to get at the heart of the hurt, fear & longing beneath the criticisms, anger & defenses.
I'm really familiar with the problems vexing adolescents (10-25+yrs) including conflicts with friends & parents, the struggle to mature into one's own, healthy, confident person, social & academic pressure, transitions, loss & issues around divorce. I've worked on school campuses with middle schoolers & high schoolers, & run anger management groups for teens
