As fall approaches, the days will grow shorter, clouds will gather, and rain will inevitably follow. It's natural to feel a sense of depression during this seasonal transition. I’m here to support you and guide you through those cloudy days. Working with the right therapist can truly be life-changing! Having someone who provides a safe space, listens with empathy, and offers emotional support is crucial for moving forward in life no matter the weather. During this time of year, disordered eating issues can become more prevalent. My approach incorporates Intuitive Eating, (ACT), and Polyvagal Theory.
My preferred therapeutic approach is ACT combined with Polivagal informed body mind therapy. Exploring the connection between body and mind you will learn how to recognize what triggers negative thoughts, and causes escaping behaviors that keep you in a self defeating loop, and instead guide you to a better path.
My life experience is my most valuable tool. It helps me to view a persons struggles from a unique perspective that allows me to address issues with compassion and empathy and gives me the ability to identify and help clients learn to identify goals, values and strengths. I am passionate about helping people lead satisfying, joyful, lives filled with love.
