Life can be messy and complicated, and finding a therapist to trust and connect with can seem extremely daunting. If you are seeking a retreat from the storms of your life, I would love to help you. I bring my non-judgmental, down-to-earth style to every session, and have a special passion for work with the LGBTQ+ community and people with dual diagnosis, substance use and mental heath. I have experience treating those with depression, PTSD/trauma response, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, divorce, work stress, relationship issues and anyone recently discharged from psychiatric hospitalization.
I use a relational/person-centered approach to therapy with specific focus on the role of trauma. My background in crisis management helps me provide a calm and relaxing atmosphere where I seek to help people replace unhelpful habits or thought patterns with healthy coping skills allowing them to thrive and change. I work in an integrative and eclectic manner, as I do not believe there's a "one size fits all" approach to therapy. I come from a place of compassion, understanding and will support and remind you that you are already whole. I have a passion for seeing people through difficult times and helping them accept and love their authentic self.
