I am a licensed professional clinical counselor specializing in treating trauma. My other areas of clinical expertise include perinatal mental health (mental health needs that arise during and after pregnancy) and working with the LGBTQ+ population. I am certified in EMDR therapy and am also a registered dance/movement therapist.
I have spent many hours on both sides of the therapy couch, which inspired my journey to become a mental health therapist. My experience as both client and therapist informs my work and speaks to how my approach may feel different: we come together and work collaboratively to help create a healthy whole.
