I specialize in working with children ages 3-10 and their parents. My ability to meet each child where they are is key to fostering growth and positive change. Children desire to be seen, heard, understood and cared for.
Play therapy sessions can address aggression, depression, ADHD, impulsiveness, conduct disorder, anxiety/fearfulness, social withdrawal, and school-related problems. It is through children's natural language of communication (play) that issues are resolved and worked through.
My favorite part of working with children is creating a safe and supportive environment where they can express themselves, explore their feelings, and develop strategies to cope with behavioral and emotional challenges.
