She has also worked in several community mental health settings serving adults and adolescents with a variety of needs including depression, anxiety, suicidality, self-harm, ADHD, psychosis, mood instability, attachment trauma and PTSD.
Allison practices from a nonjudgmental and empathic client-centered approach seeded in psychodynamic theory. Allison integrates different techniques catered to each client using different modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention
