I work to create a safe, warm, nurturing, and affirmative environment for my clients. I believe that everyone is capable of the change they seek to achieve while also being compassionate to how challenging roadblocks (ex. trauma) can be on our life journey. I have worked in addiction recovery and the mental health field for almost a decade. This includes working with domestic violence, women’s/masculinity issues, depressive/anxious disorders, personality disorders, mood disorders, and substance misuse. Asking for help is a healthy choice and everyone has unique needs. If it sounds like I meet your needs please reach out to me.
I practice my therapeutic perspective from an eclectic approach with a humanistic foundation. I believe in providing a non-shaming approach to mental health treatment by catering to the individualized needs of the client. This assists in creating a safe space for clients to process their authentic truth and uncover meaning in their lives.
I am currently offering tele-mental health sessions and I am accepting new clients. I understand how challenging it can be to take that first step into therapy and I hope that you will find it in yourself to give yourself the break you deserve by reaching out and asking for the help you need.
