Groups
Group Therapy for Adults
This interpersonal process group for adults meets weekly in downtown Manhattan. Group therapy is a wonderful adjunct to individual therapy, offering a safe, confidential space to share and support one another, develop insight, reduce and learn to manage psychological symptoms and strengthen relationships with others. Some goals include increasing self-confidence, reducing social anxiety, cultivating authenticity in relationships, enhancing interpersonal skills .Through mutual support and compassionate feedback, members help each other unpack unhealthy narratives and encourage deepening connections. Being in a group reduces isolation and provides a sense of community.
