My clinical interests include trauma-informed care, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, and couples counseling. I currently utilize a person-centered, strength-based approach to counseling but adjust this to the needs of my client(s). No matter the need or interest for counseling services, I find self-love, self-empowerment, and self-grace to be of utmost importance.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and have worked in a nursing home serving older adults with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses and for a non-profit serving children, adolescents, and their families. I also worked on a legal helpline for survivors of sexual assault and as a visiting counselor at a high school.
There are many days where uncertainty exists, and it would make a world of a difference if we all at least felt certain about ourselves. I choose to happily welcome and recognize that every individual is on their own journey and the answers we seek differ significantly.
