My goal is working with clients to help them live a more authentic lifestyle. By building strong coping skills and leaning to recognize and gain an understanding of their emotions and actions. We can learn to detect unhealthy behaviors and develop new fulfilling lifestyles; by sharing our stories. Every client is unique, which allows for individual approaches to treatment. Treatment planning and goal setting will be completed together to ensure that they can be followed through and accomplished. I urge clients to take it a day at a time to overcome their individual problems.
My experience with clients includes work with adolescents, adults and the elderly struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, defiant disorders and identity disorders. My experience includes work with veterans, active-duty military, refugees, immigrants, and survivors of abuse.
Every client is unique, which allows for individual approaches to treatment. Working together we will be able to reach your goals and overcome obstacles in your life. It is hard to seek treatment for mental health issues, which makes it important as a counselor to work with clients to build their own treatment plan and goals.
