I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Life Coach from Chicago, IL., who works with young adults and adolescents that struggle with anxiety and depression. I’ve had extensive experience with using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Strengths-Based Therapy while working in the Chicago Public and Chicago Charter schools for nearly 10 years. My treatment approach is rooted in evidence based practices that focus on mind-body-spirit. I studied at The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) where I obtained my Master’s degree in Social Work.
My main goals for clients include reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, improving overall well-being, and promoting personal growth and resilience. Think of the therapist as the gardener and the client as the sun and water. Hence, the client must be willing and ready to work towards the goals.
I’m passionate about helping others achieve their goals & I believe that everyone needs a safe and nonjudgmental space to explore their thoughts and feelings. I love traveling, creative writing, & spending time with family and friends. I’m always inspired by the strength and resilience that I see in my clients to empower them to achieve their full potential.
