Life can be challenging, and navigating life after surviving trauma or during a major transition can be especially difficult. As women, we tend to internalize our struggles for the sake of caring for others, often putting our needs on the back burner. As a result, we leave ourselves vulnerable to these issues negatively impacting our lives in many ways, such as our physical health, emotional balance and our relationships with co-workers, intimate partners and even ourselves. My therapeutic approach is focused on empowering women to overcome these personal struggles and improve the quality of their lives, relationships and careers.
I specialize in women's issues, trauma recovery, sexual issues & relationships. I also have significant experience in mood disorders & substance abuse/addiction. My therapy is strength based & structured to empower women to maintain healthy lives, careers & relationships. I offer sessions to NJ residents in office & online. I also offer Clinical Supervision.
Because trauma & life stressors impact us on many different levels, I like to incorporate expressive and creative interventions in my practice, as needed. When we experience trauma and stress, we tend to disconnect the body and mind. I work towards re-integrating clients holistically as part of the healing process.
