I am a psychoanalyst and couple therapist with over 14 years of experience. My background is in working with adult and children trauma survivors. I am also trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples. I am a member of the teaching faculty of Training Institute for Mental Health, a psychoanalytic institute. I own the group practice, Manhattan Therapy (manhattantherapy.com) and I am licensed in NY, NJ and Michigan. In addition to weekly therapy, I offer couple therapy intensive sessions that take place for several hours on a weekend.
I specialize in relationships, both the relationships with others and even perhaps more significantly, one's relationship with the self. Issues include: PTSD, ADHD, eating disorders, workaholism, money disorders, and other out of control behaviors used to manage one's feelings.
Together we will try to find language to describe your inner world. I work with your goals and we go at your pace.
