We all could use some support as we navigate through life’s many challenges and transitions. It is easy to feel overwhelmed and stuck, and go into survival mode. My goal is to assist each client in exploring their mind, body and emotions in order to deepen their awareness, gain insight and initiate growth while developing skills to no longer just survive, but thrive. I aim to create a warm, safe and supportive atmosphere, free from judgment. I intend to meet each person wherever they are at and explore whatever is alive and present in each session.
I believe a person is heavily influenced by their interations and experiences. I often incorporate mindfulness based, body centered practices and teach techniques to assist self- regulation when feeling overwhelmed. Yet, I also incorporate other evidence based practices such as CBT, ACT and DBT as indicated. Together we will assess what is right for you.
Please email me for more information or to schedule an appointment. Please include a contact phone number and brief description of why you are seeking therapy. I look forward to collaborating with you!
