We have points in our lives when having a therapist can help us move through difficult times. You may feel stuck, isolated, or just wanting support. You may hold past experiences from family that feel present or have stress from feeling unsafe in the world. My specialties include working with grief, trauma, shame, and relationship issues, I work with folks around healing from the impacts of racism and white supremacy. I love working with LGBT communities have a specialty in working with trans/non-binary folks. I specialize in clients considering parenting and becoming parents/single parents.
I offer individual and couples work. I see you as the expert of your healing and take a relational approach. I use IFS (Internal Family Systems), gestalt therapy, and embodiment/mindfulness work to guide our sessions together. I invite using your spirituality if that anchors you and center your origin stories and identities as core to your healing.
It is a brave step to reach out to a therapist. My clients often feel relief and more empowered in their life paths, relationships, work, and in their family of origin. They carry more joy and self-compassion . I welcome you exploring working with me.

Queer Parenting without a Partner
Taking the step to become a parent is a big one. More and more queer and trans folks are considering starting this journey on their own. I am offering a support group for potential LGBTQ+ individuals exploring parenting without a partner. Topics include: Navigating the decision to become a solo LGBT parent, considering if solo parenting is the right path for you, building a support network, preparing for the practical aspects and celebrating the unique aspects of LGBTQ+ parenthood. You will connect with other LGBT folks considering this parenting path and share your journey and challenges.
