I believe that meeting a client where they are is important in the therapeutic relationship. I like to meet them where they are to help them become equipped with tools, strategies, and support from others. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches to create a treatment plan unique to the needs of each client. I enjoy helping individuals to draw upon and discover their own strengths and abilities as they overcome challenges life may throw their way.
I have worked with a variety of age groups (2.5 years old and up) in different settings such as day treatment, outpatient treatment and residential treatment centers. I am trained in EMDR, TF-CBT, PCIT and have worked with attachment theory. I have worked with clients with depression, anxiety, trauma and reactive attachment disorder.
