I believe the path to feeling calm and strengthened begins with learning about oneself and developing self-awareness. I offer my patients a safe environment through which they can explore and understand feelings and experiences and use the information to create skills to cope with life's stressors.
My treatment specialties include but are not limited to working with anxiety and depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief and bereavement, eating disorders, parenting, teen and young adult experiences, and issues confronting older adulthood.
The most difficult challenge people face in finding a therapist is making contact. I provide time and attention from the first phone call or email where individuals can feel listened to and experience empathy and care regarding their issue.
