I am accepting new clients impacted by a cancer experience, whether you are the loved-one/caregiver or it is your own medical journey. I hold an oncology social work certification and am committed to maintaining expertise in this area of need. In our work together I will use a warm and personable approach and provide a welcoming space. I will allow you to fully explore your emotions, reflect on the impact of the cancer journey, and help you to focus on ways you can live life as well as possible even in the face of difficult experiences.
I have a warm, authentic approach as I support people through cancer and grief caused by cancer. My clinical work is rooted in the principals of Narrative Therapy, trauma, understanding of stress responses, grief informed care, and I have a culturally sensitive, strengths-based practice.
I would be honored to work with you. I am committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental space for people to center on living life well (even in the face of challenges). I allow individuals the dignity to have ultimate determination in the therapy process (you are an expert in your own life!). I believe everyone benefits from spaces of reflection/support.
