The process of recovery and change is rarely linear. Sometimes it is messy, looping back upon itself, taking unexpected turns, or stalling out. How can you “trust the process” if the process is unclear? I am here to help identify and uproot hurdles and roadblocks that are keeping you from moving forward in healing. My goal is to create a soft, inclusive therapeutic landing space for those looking to explore and process past trauma and understand how it affects current thought and behavior patterns. I also offer support to those looking to manage depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, identity issues, and relationship issues.
I work from a warm, relational, client-centered approach and believe that therapy should be unique to each individual. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify goals and create meaningful treatment plans. This leaves room for flexibility and creativity as we work together to build skills, understanding, and resiliency.
I focus on creating a supportive, affirming environment for all clients while acknowledging the inherent difficulties of moving through the world with intersectional identities. Everyone is welcome. Fellow nerds, geeks, and awkward human beings are supported and encouraged!
