Life is full of the unexpected, and we aren't always equipped with the tools to meet each challenge that life sometimes gives us. It takes courage to seek out help and therapy. I strive to provide a safe space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood. I specialize in working with anxiety, shame, perfectionism, self-worth, and self-acceptance. I also have experience helping with healing from trauma, abuse, and domestic violence.
I believe in incorporating the unique strengths of each of my clients as we work together to create greater happiness and heal from past trauma. I take a client-centered approach and am trained and experienced in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and self-compassion.
My passion is to empower others, recognize their own strengths, and build courage to use their voice. This work has always been very special to me, and it is an honor to sit and witness people in all stages of life and states of mind. It feels sacred. It feels important. It feels like the most human thing I can experience.
