At Peony Counseling, we work together to move you towards wholeness as an individual and in your relationships. Life is difficult and we frequently get stuck with grief, trauma, transitions, resentment or anxiety that can feel overwhelming and lonely. I enjoy counseling adults as well as couples and have additional training in parenting classes (Becoming a Love & Logic Parent), healing from trauma (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Emotional Focused Couples Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Skills.
I blend science and art with eclectic therapies focusing on your strengths and needs-using humor, creativity and compassion to connect. I strive to create a warm, safe, comfortable space to explore these tough feelings and relationships-as well as a space to laugh and nurture yourself.
