Thank you for visiting my profile! Working with you, my aim is to help you find a place within yourself where you are able to be honest, locate your inner resiliency, and strengthen your ability to cope in a healthy manner. My main areas of focus include trauma processing and attachment issues. The main modalities I use include talk therapy to build rapport and a sense of feeling seen, EMDR to help process trauma, and neurofeedback to help regulate and retrain the mind. I believe talk therapy can be very helpful and validating, but I would often come to find that my clients (and myself) would hit a plateau at a certain point.
This lead me to explore and become trained in more direct, brain based tools such as EMDR and neurofeedback. These modalities can be quite effective while also being quite intensive, and I am always happy to explore with my clients if these types of treatment may be appropriate for them.
I am here to provide validation and suggestions in the form of techniques and coping skills, while keeping in mind this is YOUR journey and YOU are the one in charge of the process! I am happy and honored to assist you on your path.
