Hello! My name is Alexis Irene and I am a therapist at Cognitive Change. I have worked in the counseling field for the past five years. My background was originally in high school counseling and I worked as a teacher prior to that. I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and adults and pride myself on being a great advocate for my clients and building a strong therapeutic relationship.
I can help adolescents with school-related struggles, such as school avoidance. I also work with a variety of family situations including non-paternal events and parental identity discovery, individuals trying to conceive, and new moms navigating their motherhood journey. I have experience working with anxiety, ADHD, grief, trauma, and self-esteem building.
