My goal is to create a nonjudgmental, safe space for individuals, especially those in the LGBTQIA+ community, to achieve healing in ways that are meaningful to them. I work with teens (15 and up) and adults navigating identity development, life transitions, relationship difficulties, self-worth, trauma, anxiety and other mood disorders, and more. With an understanding that healing looks different for everyone, I provide a person-centered, collaborative approach and work with clients to identify goals that are meaningful to them, while respecting and valuing their unique experiences, culture, and history.
Within the therapy space, we will explore challenges you are facing in your life in a compassionate and nonjudgmental way. I take a relational approach, and believe that the relationship between therapist and client is a safe and effective space to practice vulnerability, curiosity, mindfulness, boundary setting, and emotional regulation.
We will welcome all parts of you in order to increase understanding, compassion, and patience for the ways that you have adapted to the world around you. I believe in working together with clients to identify patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, make connections, and encourage healing and change through empathy, compassion, education, and support.
