Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey. I believe that therapy is a partnership between the therapist and the client. I approach therapy with a warm demeanor and a sense of humor, when appropriate. I am an LGBTQ+ ally and I am open minded and accepting.
I have been a practicing Social Worker for 25 years. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I will help you to become more mindful so that you can note patterns and make the changes you want. I teach skills that will enhance your life. It's also important to acknowledge and build on existing strengths.
I have a passion for working with people who are struggling with Depression, Bipolar Disorder and Anxiety. I particularly like working with people who are in the midst of a transition, such as graduation, divorce, marriage, retirement or parenthood. These events often present an opportunity for growth.
