Hello, I'm Alexandria Shelling, LMFT. I am here to help my clients live authentically and reach their full potential. My area of focus in my practice includes anxiety, depression, school issues, coping skills, trauma, and foster care issues. I have a passion for working with adolescents and young adults who are apart of marginalized communities via telehealth. As a therapist, I often utilize interventions from various frameworks including trauma informed, client centered and culturally competent perspectives.
I find that being transparent and collaborative with my clients is beneficial to their therapeutic experience and our working relationship. My approach to goal setting is collaborative. I often ask my clients what brings them to therapy and what they would like to work on during our time together.
