Navigating the world of childhood and adolescence can be both exciting and challenging! I believe therapy for this age group isn’t just about addressing problems and providing unconditional support - it's about fostering growth, building resilience, and unlocking potential. With over 8 years of experience working as a School Social Worker, I have significant experience helping young people navigate everything from developmental and transitional challenges to academic stress and behavioral issues to family dynamics and mental health concerns, like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and Autism.
Particularly when it comes to children and teens, it’s crucial to meet them where there are. Alongside a variety of traditional techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-focused therapy, I also work with my clients’ innate creativity and communication by integrating elements of Play Therapy, art, games, journaling, and other outlets.
I am passionate about building strong, therapeutic relationships and am dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate, and supportive space for my clients to explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and build the resilience needed to navigate current and future challenges.
