I am a Licensed Psychologist providing individual and couples therapy to adults facing such challenges as anxiety, depression, stress management, and more. I view therapy as a collaborative process, and feel that successful therapy depends on a good fit between therapist and client. I strive to create a warm and safe environment for self-exploration and discovery. I use a dynamic approach, which emphasizes the importance of interpersonal relationships for healing and change. I also incorporate mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral strategies as needed to reduce symptoms and develop positive new behaviors and coping skills.
In addition to addressing problem areas in life, I am passionate about helping people to develop skills for personal growth and self-actualization. I find Mindfulness Skills to be especially useful for attaining an enduring sense of inner peace and capacity for joyful living.
