Have you been feeling disconnected, anxious, depressed, or like you are struggling to feel heard? Using art therapy, mindfulness techniques, active listening, and an eclectic approach with a present focus, I hope to meet you where you are at on your journey to attaining your goals. Your goals will drive our work together and, as we get to know one another, I may suggest goals during our time. I believe that there are no miracle cures, YOU are the miracle! Change can be uncomfortable, and even painful at times, and my goal is to be there to support you as you grow and learn new, personally meaningful ways of thriving in our world.
I am a licensed professional counselor candidate (LPCC) in Colorado and have experience working with individuals and groups. I enjoy working with children and adolescents and working with neurodiverse individuals, including persons on the autism spectrum. I have experience helping individuals navigate issues of anxiety, depression, divorce, and anger.
Making art together in a safe space, whether we are in person or meeting remotely, can foster connectedness and promote regulation. Approaches and techniques used include humanistic, person-centered, CBT, DBT, solution-focused, and mindfulness techniques. Your voice is valued and will be heard.
