I believe the most fundamental aspect of therapy is the relationship between the client and counselor. Growth and change can't take place without an empathetic and trusting relationship. I work with my clients to develop a safe, non-judgmental space to explore and work through negative thought patterns, emotions and behaviors that can prevent the happiness and satisfaction with life that we all deserve. Together we will examine and foster your strengths, uncover ways to move past prior painful or traumatic experiences and problem-solve current life stressors to allow you to fully live the life you want.
I utilize an integrative approach, drawing on a number of treatment modalities to best suit my client’s needs. I am an AASECT certified Sex Therapist, trained in EMDR and work with a range of other modalities. I am passionate about working with clients who are members of the LGBTQIA+, kink/BDSM, consensual non-monogamy/poly and sex work communities.
I have experience working with clients experiencing distress from a range of issues related to anxiety, trauma, relationships, sex and intimacy.
