If you have experienced a situation that feels too big to handle and you are reaching out for help, I commend you for taking this brave step! I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families that have experienced the trauma of sexual abuse or family violence. It is my passion to help my clients find hope and healing in seemingly hopeless situations. I work from a trauma-informed perspective and am able to provide support for many difficult life circumstances.
I am trained in several evidence-based treatment practices such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). I utilize my knowledge from these models and my experience of working with a wide variety of clients to inform our work together.
It is my belief that shame and fear begin to fade when stories are shared in safe spaces with safe people. My ultimate goal is to provide an environment where you feel safe enough to share your experiences and begin to find hope and healing.
