Life can be a wonderful joy, it just takes a bit of work. I'm Alex, and as a therapist my job is to help people do that work navigating the rough waters of life and find that joy. I was once held through that journey myself by some wonderful therapists and I love the opportunity to give back and help my own clients achieve much the same. In our work, we will establish a hopeful and compassionate environment where you can feel safe to talk about anything, from your day-to-day struggles to your deepest secrets.
After working in various therapy settings, I have a broad base of experience working with adolescents, couples, and adults on issues such as work stress, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. I love watching my clients grow and flourish as they learn to tackle most any obstacle life puts in front of them.
I utilize a multifaceted approach that focuses on meaning-making and treating the whole person, not just their symptoms. I also frequently work with couples, helping each partner build the trust and security necessary to bring their relationship to the next level. I am now offering both online and in person treatment.
