My strengths include working with adolescents and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, multicultural issues, systematic oppression, and/or transitional issues related to adulthood. I also help people with LGBTQ+ concerns, unhealthy relationships, systemic trauma, racist experiences, microagressions, discrimination, and immigration issues.
Interactive, open to feedback, motivating, empowering, patient, and enjoy using humor appropriate. I use strengths-based, trauma-informed, and social justice lenses. I employ feminist and liberation approaches as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy techniques. I draw from various modalities to fit each individual.
