I work from a relational, holistic approach because I believe making sure my clients have a safe space to fully show up as themselves, while taking into account all aspects of their lives that could be contributing to their presenting challenges, is of high importance. All of you Matters. My approach to therapy is Client-Centered and Integrative. I incorporate other evidence-based techniques including Narrative, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California.
I have 10+ years of experience working in the field of mental health. I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education and Psychology. My career has afforded me opportunities to help clients struggling with various mental and emotional challenges.
I've worked in an array of settings where I provided individual therapy to clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures, who suffered from a variety of conditions including anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse problems and addictions, mood disorders, severe mental pathologies, and trauma. I work with Adolescents, Transition-Age Youth, Adults, and Older Adults.
