Life presents us with many situations and many requirements that are very stressful. Trying to cope and manage these events can cause both anxiety and depression if the challenge seems overwhelming or unattainable . Many of these stressors may be very specific situations such as performance as an athlete or musician or public speaker. Some are more unpredictable such as coping with a loss or life transition. So often we expect ourselves to "push through" or "deal with it" and we don't accept and honor the difficulty of these stressors. Many times, despite our best efforts it is difficult to deal with these situations on our own.

Do you struggle with feeling disconnected from yourself, family, and friends? Do you prioritize your needs last? Now more than ever, people are feeling anxious, overwhlemed, and uncertain about how they are supposed to manage their relationships, careers, and their lives. Ignoring your needs and not making time for yourself can lead to long-term problems for your mind and body. I believe it shouldn't be so hard to live a better life.

Medical challenges present many problems--sleep deprivation, implementing nutritional requirements, and family members unable to understand your medical challenges and pain. I offer several forms of therapy, based on preference. I have developed protocols based on a decade of research to help you manage your anxiety, depression, pain perception, and sleep and nutritional behaviors. Protocols help with medically-induced PTSD. Critical thinking protocols help make medical decisions when you are feeling overwhelmed but must choose from more than one recommendation. The shared practice model offers multiple skill sets.

I provide a form of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) that combines standard "talk therapy" with Jungian-based tools and art/play therapy approaches that allow for greater exploration of the unconscious. With 25 years counseling experience using a variety of therapy techniques I have found this combination works far better than other approaches for getting good results. I work with clients ages 5 and up, as well as with couples and families. Please see my website www.utherapy,net for full details on me and my practice.

As a Jungian analyst, I work with persons facing moments of spiritual and psychological crisis or breakthrough as they seek bridges to new life. Together, we seek to penetrate stuck places in your life story to tap the deeper meaning that lies beneath surface constriction. Imagination is central in Jungian work, and my practice sees the challenges of life symbolically, not just as obstacles but as possibilities for creative dialogue, deeper understanding, and transformation. Working with dreams, fantasies, memories, and great moments in the present, we reimagine problems, and create a path for life to move forward and go deeper.

Sex addiction doesn't have to continue ruining your life. Life may feel hopeless, and your anxiety may be higher than you've ever felt before. Yet, it doesn't have to stay this way. My clients all have two things in common: 1) They want to be here for themselves, even when others are making them, and 2) They work to achieve their goals. They come to me usually in a state of panic or depression, or some even come in when their world is chaotic and out of control. When you're ready to tackle your issues, give me a call.

Peace & blessings! I am passionate about helping individuals navigate the complexities of the human mind and find inner peace and growth. My journey in the field has been driven by a desire to facilitate positive change. My 17-plus years of experience have allowed me to learn and work with those from many walks of life in various therapeutic settings. I recognize that in life, we are all given a chair in a forever-evolving classroom with many lessons, all of which have equipped me with a diverse range of skills and a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and mental health.

I believe that successful therapy work begins with a good relationship between therapist and client, and therefore seek to ensure a common ground to build upon. Early in my career I discovered that often presenting issues have roots from our childhood experiences and relationships. I have dedicated much of my training since to becoming proficient in working with trauma and dissociative symptoms. The good news is that we can process these experiences, and grow to create a greater quality of life!
