It is a privilege to work with individuals in my home-state of Alaska. One day we may download a User's Manual for being human. Until then, therapy can help us navigate the rocky shoals and shed light onto the dark spots while setting ghosts to rest. I have been an LMFT since 1993. During that time I've had both education and experience with many of the issues we encounter as we pass through our lives. Couples, individuals and teens are the majority of my practice. We work on relationship problems, divorce and co-parenting, anxiety and depression and parent-child problems. I also have training and experience working with clients with sexual concerns and Active Duty Military, families and Veterans. I am currently accepting telephonic and video clients in Oregon. Telehealth has been extensively researched and found to have similar positive results as face-to-face.

As an immigrant, I have become part of a country that values diversity and integration, where I experienced the transformation of my life and therefore the transformation of my surroundings. While living in Alaska, I realized there is a need for mental health professionals who understand the implications of being an immigrant, and the importance of processing the loss of your language, food, music, friends, and place.
