My name is Alan Lovins, and I practice at 441 Orange Street, New Haven, CT. I am a graduate of Yale University. I studied theology at the University of Goettingen, Germany for one year, and I was ordained rabbi at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City. I received my Ph.D. in psychology from Columbia University and have been practicing since then in New Haven for over 30 years.I am currently forming a group for people who are dealing with issues of retirement.
I have worked with teenagers, adult individuals, and couples and families. For a number of years I have worked as a consultant to family owned businesses helping them to do generational succession, while preserving family relationships. I have also led support/ therapy groups.
Relationships are a primary focus for me, since3 I believe we are largely defined by our relationships, and we find many of life's satisfactions from relationships.I have 4 children and 7 grandchildren
